We are looking for a Head of Group Financial Reporting, a pivotal role in the core of Group Finance. You are responsible for Group Reporting and will be managing consolidation of financial data from all European entities. Do you want to step up and take control? This could be your opportunity!

We are looking for a talented Head of Group Financial Reporting to join our finance team and take the lead in group-level accounting & reporting, audit and control processes. You will ensure compliance with IFRS standards and strengthen our control functions, collaborating regularly with finance teams across our international offices. 

As Head of Group Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for driving excellence in financial reporting and controlling, working to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. This strategic role requires someone with a solid background in financial control or audit and the ability to elevate reporting standards across the organization. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidations 
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports from regional offices 
• Ensure the organization adheres to IFRS standards 
• Elevate internal controls to new levels 
• Lead the group audit process, prepare the annual report, and coordinate with external auditors 
• Identify opportunities to enhance accounting and reporting efficiency 
• Implement best practices in financial controls across the group 
• Collaborate closely with finance teams across various international regions 
• Manage and coach colleagues from a functional perspective

We are looking for an ambitious individual, with an independent and proactive work attitude. Someone who takes charge and stays in control. Having gained several years of experience, you are ready to contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic team and support the company's strategic financial objectives.  

Besides this you bring: 

• At least 5 years of experience in financial control and financial reporting. Preferably gained in an accounting firm, with international clients. 
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and group reporting standards. 
• A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting or related areas. 
• CPA (or Dutch RA) is preferred. 
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 
• Any experience with our tools, PowerBI, Lucanet and Exact, is a plus. 
• Avid interest in technology to optimize day to day efficiency. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to actively engage with management on financial matters. 
• Fluency in English while Dutch is a plus.
