Eazit acquires IT-, and network services business from Prewest

Eazit takes over two branches of ICT & telecom company Prewest, the ICT services and the services in the field of telecom, internet and TV. With the acquisition, Eazit, a specialist in telephony, ICT, internet and network, further expands its portfolio and geographical reach and increases the focus on service excellence

Almere, April 23, 2021 - Eazit takes over two branches of ICT & telecom company Prewest, the ICT services and the services in the field of telecom, internet and TV. With the acquisition, Eazit, a specialist in telephony, ICT, internet and network, further expands its portfolio and geographical reach and increases the focus on service excellence. Prewest's security arm is not part of the acquisition.

The acquisition of these two branches of Prewest, which has grown rapidly in recent years, is fully in line with Eazit's strategy to expand the technical product and services portfolio and continue to provide a strong, distinctive customer experience. The aim is to make service excellence even more part of the culture at Eazit. In addition, Prewest is already familiar with the products of Eazit (part of Enreach), and has also supplied platform software to their customers, including Voiceworks - another company within the European unified communications group.

Step-by-step integration

Prewest's 700 customers will be gradually integrated into Eazit's business operations in the coming months, so that they can take advantage of Eazit's product and service offering as quickly and smoothly as possible. The goal is to have all current ICT & telecom customers of Prewest under the services of Eazit by 1 September. Prewest's security branch will remain unchanged and will continue under its own name under co-owner Luuk Jan Boverhof. No financial details were disclosed with the acquisition.

“By adding Prewest, we are taking an important strategic step that is in line with our growth strategy,” says Edwin van Buren, CEO Eazit. “In addition, Prewest - just like Eazit – puts customer focus and service excellence first. Prewest and Eazit customers can now benefit even more from a broader product and service offering and optimal service. We look forward to welcoming Prewest's professional team.”

“We are proud that the ICT & telecom part of our business is becoming part of Eazit, an important player in the ICT & telecom market,” says Jacco Westerink, co-owner of Prewest. "We have achieved something great in recent years, and we are extremely pleased to be able to expand this further by offering even more services to our customers and being able to respond even better to developments in the market."
