We are looking for a Medior Financial Controller to join our Finance team. As a Medior Financial Controller, you will work in an international finance environment and be involved in both group financial control and financial controlling for our Dutch holding.

A key part of your role as Medior Financial Controller is the end-to-end monthly closing process from a group perspective. You support consolidation, reporting, and the analysis of financial results within the international group. In addition, you will be co-responsible for the functional management of Lucanet, our consolidation and reporting system. In this role, you work closely with international finance colleagues, including the finance team in Germany. Alongside group accounting, you are involved in the financial controlling of the holding activities in the Netherlands. You are responsible for monthly closings, financial reporting, and analyses.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Managing the end-to-end closing process from a group perspective
• Supporting monthly consolidation and group reporting
• Acting as co-owner of the functional management of Lucanet
• Preparing financial reports and analyses
• Performing monthly closings for the Dutch holding
• Collaborating with international financial controllers within the group
• Supporting accounting related to asset development
• Identifying improvements in financial processes and reporting
• Working closely with international finance colleagues

In summary: This is a broad role in which you combine operational and analytical work, with opportunities to further develop towards a senior financial control position.

You are analytically strong, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in an international organization. You take initiative, contribute ideas for improvement, and feel responsible for the quality of financial reporting. You communicate easily with colleagues across different countries and enjoy working as part of a finance team.

You also have:

• A completed HBO or WO degree in Finance, Business Economics, or Accountancy
• Approximately 4 to 6 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or audit
• Experience with monthly closings, reporting, and financial analyses
• Experience in an international or corporate environment is a plus
• Experience with consolidation and reporting tools such as Lucanet is a plus
• Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus

Finally, you are willing to work three days per week at the office in Almere Duin, with a beautiful view over the IJmeer and Amsterdam in the distance.
