Enreach launches Swyx 15 with new Microsoft Teams integration and custom web extensions

30 Sep 2026

Major release brings business telephony and collaboration closer together, adding greater flexibility for integrations, devices and mobile work

Enreach, a leading European provider of smart contact solutions, has launched Swyx 15, the latest major release of its proven unified communications solution for businesses. The new version brings  business telephony and modern collaboration closer together, while giving customers and partners greater flexibility to adapt Swyx to individual workflows and working environments.

Key additions of the release include Swyx Direct for Microsoft Teams, new web extensions for the SwyxIt! desktop client and enhanced support for mobile working.

More flexibility for Microsoft Teams integration

Swyx 15 introduces Swyx Direct for Microsoft Teams, further expanding the integration options available to businesses that want to combine Teams with professional external business communications.

Swyx already offers different ways to integrate Microsoft Teams, allowing businesses to choose an approach that fits their specific communications environment and requirements. With the new Swyx Direct, Microsoft Teams can be used as an endpoint while Swyx continues to provide the central telephony capabilities in the background. Users can make and receive calls through the familiar Teams interface while benefiting from Swyx functionality such as intelligent call routing, support for different endpoints, CRM integrations, and advanced capabilities for managing incoming calls within user groups.

This gives businesses the flexibility to combine Teams collaboration with Swyx business telephony to the extent that best suits their organisation, rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. For Enreach partners, the range of integration options also makes it easier to design solutions around individual customer infrastructures and working environments.

Business applications directly within Swyx

New web extensions for the SwyxIt! desktop client allow partners and customers to integrate web-based applications directly into the Swyx interface. Applications such as customer information or individual dashboards can be added as widgets to the SwyxIt! home screen, giving employees access to relevant information without having to switch between different applications. For Enreach partners, web extensions also create new opportunities to develop customer-specific solutions and adapt Swyx to different workflows and use cases.

Support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto extends Swyx into mobile working scenarios, while Enreach is also providing a preview of SwyxIt! for Windows devices using ARM processors.

“Swyx 15 gives our partners even more options to provide businesses with communications solutions tailored to specific customer needs, regardless of what their working environment looks like. Customers benefit from greater flexibility and a solution that integrates seamlessly into existing processes,” said Ralf Ebbinghaus, Enreach's CEO for the Midsize Segment.

An established platform evolving with AI

With more than 20 years of development behind it, Swyx is an established software-based business communications solution that combines professional telephony with collaboration, mobility and business application integration. Customers can choose between cloud, on-premises and flexible deployment models, while integrations with Microsoft Teams and CRM systems help embed communications into existing workflows. In 2025, the cloud-based SwyxON solution also successfully completed an independent audit according to the BSI C5 criteria catalogue that sets criteria for the highest cloud security and compliance standards.

As part of the wider Enreach portfolio, Swyx can be enhanced with Enreach’s AI solutions. Conversational AI capabilities, including AI-powered voice interactions and bots, can help businesses automate routine customer interactions while building on their existing communications environment. This creates opportunities for partners to complement their Swyx offering with AI capabilities tailored to customer requirements.

Enreach’s European strategy

The continued investment in Swyx reflects Enreach’s broader strategy of aligning its portfolio and expertise with the needs of its key customer segments across its core European markets. Swyx is designed to meet the requirements of mid-sized businesses, offering the advanced communications functionality, customisation and flexibility they need across different deployment models and integrations.

Swyx 15 strengthens this proposition by making the solution even more adaptable to different customer environments, while Enreach’s wider portfolio provides access to innovations in areas such as conversational AI and automation.

As part of this strategy, Enreach is further expanding its activities around Swyx in both the Netherlands and Italy, building on its existing presence in these markets. Dedicated local sales resources provide partners with direct support and combine local market knowledge with Swyx product expertise from across the European group. This approach reflects Enreach’s broader strategy of making proven technology and expertise from individual markets available more widely, while ensuring that partners and customers benefit from strong local support.
