The Enreach FMC Router is a strategic interconnection platform designed to bridge the gap between fixed and mobile networks. It is not an end-user product but a carrier-grade solution for the service provider ecosystem.

It solves a critical problem for fixed operators who need to add a mobile offering to their portfolio to stay competitive and for Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) or Mobile Virtual Network Aggregators/Enablers (MVNA/Es) who want to efficiently onboard new Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) onto their network.

In essence, it acts as a catalyst, enabling fixed operators to quickly become MVNOs and offer true Fixed-Mobile Convergence (FMC) services.

The FMC Router is a centralized platform, typically hosted by the MNO or MVNA/E. Its function is to act as an intelligent interconnection hub.

Architecturally, it sits between the MNO's core mobile network and the fixed operator's (now an MVNO) value-added service (VAS) or Centrex platform.

When a mobile call is made by an end-user, the MNO's network routes it through the FMC Router, which then queries the MVNO's platform to apply the correct business telephony logic (e.g., display the professional number, apply call recording rules).

This allows the fixed operator to extend their existing PBX functionality to mobile devices seamlessly.

By facilitating this deep network integration, the FMC Router enables you to offer a suite of high-value, native mobile features that end-users want, including:
