Centile, a leading European provider of mobile-first communication and collaboration solutions, has now been rebranded Enreach, as part of a larger growth strategy within the Enreach group that combines best-of-breed product and services and makes them available at scale. From now on, Centile will use the commercial name Enreach for Service Providers, but most people are likely to just refer to it as Enreach. Visually, it has adopted Enreach’s recognisable purple brand colour and design style.
However, this is more than just a new name and logo, says Bertrand Pourcelot, Managing Director at Enreach for Service Providers: “Centile’s highly flexible and sophisticated UCaaS and FMC platform is now part of Enreach’s DNA and central to its future-facing strategy: our intention is to deliver the platform’s powerful benefits to other parts of the group and countries.”
To understand why Enreach considers the platform so important, it helps to know something about Centile’s history. Originating from France, Centile was probably best known for its award-winning unified communications platform,ISTRA, which it has been delivering to the market via channel partners since 2002. Today, Centile’s products are used by 100+ operators, with more than one million customers between them, in over 20 countries worldwide (predominantly in Europe but as far afield as South America).
Centile’s ‘mobile first’ approach and position as a pioneer of FMC led to it being adopted by one of Scandinavia’s biggest telecom service provider, today supporting hundreds of thousands of users. This is a good example of how the Centile platform has always been at the leading-edge of the market and today, is ideally poised to take UCaaS to new levels.
In the summer of 2018, Centile joined Within Reach group, which then renamed to Enreach and, which as of late 2020, was active in 25 countries with more than 950 employees. Over the past couple of years, Enreach has made a number of acquisitions, including Eazit, ipnordic, M Mobility, Network Telecom, HeroBase, BotSquad and masvoz. These are part of Enreach’s ‘buy-and-build strategy, giving the group access to best-of-breed innovations, enhance and integrate them, then rapidly roll out internationally.
Says Bertrand, “This gives the entire Enreach community fast access to the latest and best-in-class UCaaS services available, helping them to perform and compete better in their markets. We’re levelling the playing-field: even small businesses can have access affordable, high-performing and extremely usable UCaaS and FMC services.”
Of course, this approach means Enreach for Service Providers’ customers can take advantage of innovations from the rest of the Enreach group. For example, Enreach for Service Providers has launched a competitive video collaborationservice, ISTRA Collab Business, developed by Voiceworks (one of the companies in the group). Conversely, the platform has already been extended to Enreach-owned UK company Network Telecom, which is now selling it as NT Cloud PRO to its business customers.
So what can we expect next from Enreach for Service Providers? Bertrand Pourcelot is not yet able to go into details but shares, “There will certainly be more news to follow, as the Enreach platform integrates with yet more technologies within the group. We support the collaboration needs of users, helping them adapt to an evolving workplace, while furthering Enreach’s ambition to be Europe’s Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) leader.”
